Do you really want Connecticut supermarkets in the business of refuse recycling? Dirty cans and bottles can lead to unsanitary conditions. If state legislators expand the bottle bill to include all noncarbonated beverage containers, supermarkets will have to deal with even more dirty bottles and cans.
